There are several ways to change your bedroom makeover during the pandemic. Here are some ideas you can use if your budget is limited and you want to make a big impact without too much work or expense.

The pandemic has kept a lot of us indoors and some of us are left with so much time in our hands. A number have picked up new hobbies such as gardening and cooking. There are some who pursued their interests in other fields outside their current expertise. And then there are people who had long put on hold fixing things around the house… these people now find the time to venture into home improvement, or in this case, bedroom makeover. If you are one of those people, you may find the tips below quite helpful.

Here are some tips to add to your must-do, if they aren’t already in your done list.

Bed Sheets

Bed sheets are one of those things that can bring a lot of impact in your bedroom, and they affect the quality of sleep you so need during this pandemic, so make sure you get quality bed sheets. You won’t have to go out as you can buy them online. You will not have to buy a new one for a long time so you may want to save some money on them. For example, linen is the least expensive material and you should look into buying as many sheets as you can afford.

Bedding

Your bedroom will not be complete without bedding. You could buy new sheets, duvet cover, pillow cases, throw pillows, comforter or quilt to complete the look of the room. Or you could just choose a comfy bedding set that is affordable but will last.

Lighting

You can change the lights in your bedroom during the pandemic to give it a more homely feel. The idea is to put the lights close to the bed so they don’t shine off the ceiling. On the other hand, you can also have dim lights that can still illuminate the room when you are reading a book or watching television.

Furniture

If you do not have much money for the bedroom makeover, you can have a look at the furniture that you normally have in your bedroom. Instead of buying new furniture, you can get an old bed or dresser and paint it black. You can get new curtains, lamps, drapes, pillows, comforters, bed spreads, table cloths and other items to add that extra touch. Just make sure you do not put too many items in the room otherwise it will make the room look crowded.

Bedroom makeovers during the pandemic can be as simple as rearranging some of your furniture and lighting, to something more elaborate like changing the whole bedroom. The key to make a good bedroom makeover is to have fun and experiment with your colors and designs.

After the pandemic is over, you can bring back the fun by creating your own fun designs and color schemes. Try to keep your bedroom as simple as possible but at the same time make it functional and welcoming.

It is always better to put in an air purifier, or have a portable unit to circulate the air in the room during the pandemic. A dehumidifier can be put next to the bed in order to reduce humidity and moisture in the room.

After the pandemic is over, you will be surprised how your bedroom looks like without putting too much stuff into it. However, it is important not to leave any part of the room untouched. Make sure to clean everything and have it disinfected.
